The Coppatrekkers were led by influential celebrities Giovanna Fletcher, Sophie Piper, Amy Dowden, Kiri-Pritchard Mclean, (just to name a few) and were warmly welcomed into Solva Harbour by our team Luke, Laura and Thea.
To celebrate the final 10k of their challenge The Mount Milk joined us, we dusted off the MamGu Gazebo and dished up over 200 welsh cakes paired with Solva’s very own delicious ice cold Mount Milk to the hungry trekkers and their safety team. Luke (who sits behind screen 99% of the time), a very pregnant café manager Laura and Thea (you all know her!) were overwhelmed, taken back, and struck by the energy these incredible ladies had. Each with their own individual reasons for taking part, it was beyond a pleasure to be part of this special moment to stop and remember all those who have been affected by Cancer.
As the sun shone down on the harbour emotions ran high, Thea is not ashamed to admit she shed a tear, and they set off to complete the final stretch of their journey donned with walking sticks, blisters a plenty and the euphoria of their achievement.
