ABOUT OUR CAFE
Situated in the heart of St Davids, Pembrokeshire - Britains smallest city - MamGu Welshcakes don't just sell traditional and alternative welsh cakes but is a warm, welcoming and cosy cafe found in the ruins of St Marys College, a 14th century part of St Davids Cathedral. Our menu serves a delicious twist on old Welsh dishes, with Welsh Rarebit, Cawl, and Crempogs to name a few. The MamGu kitchen is proud to source almost all ingredients locally as possible to our St Davids home
When visiting us you instantly feel what MamGu Welshcakes is about: family, togetherness, laughing, relaxing and open arms - this paired with the idea to teach visitors about the welsh culture and to push its boundaries blend for a truly memorable experience.
Please bring your furry four-legged friends along too. Dogs are welcome at both our cafes. 🐶
Our Coffee Shop is accessible for all. We have a wheel chair lift at your entrance (this can not take motorised scooters) and the cathedral has disabled toilets.
We currently do not take bookings for our St Davids Coffee Shop.

PRIVATE HIRE
Our beautiful St Davids cafe has an amazing upstairs mezzanine space with almost 360 views through beautiful large windows, including incredible views of St Davids Cathedral and the grounds. This is available to hire as an intimate private venue for meetings, small gatherings, parties and general shin digs!
