A Taste of Pembrokeshire Heads to Glasgow with Team Wales

2,000 Hand Made Welsh Cakes Donated to the Commonwealth Games 2026

We're incredibly proud to announce that 2,000 hand made Welsh cakes, baked the traditional way right here in Pembrokeshire, are on their way to Glasgow to support Team Wales at the Commonwealth Games 2026.

Each batch has been carefully hand made using traditional hand made methods, then finished with custom Team Wales branded packaging, giving every welsh cake a proudly Welsh finishing touch. These Welsh cakes will be gifted to athletes, VIPs, and representatives from across the Commonwealth, offering many of the 74 competing nations their very first taste of Wales.
